The Rasmus- In The Shadows

" In the Shadows " je pieseň fínskej alternatívnej rockovej skupiny The Rasmus a je súčasťou piateho štúdiového albumu Dead Letters. Singel dosiahol značný úspech v celej Európe a Oceánii, vrátane Spojeného kráľovstva, kde dosiahol tretie miesto a na Novom Zélande, kde sa umiestnil na špičke rebríčka.

Album bol nahraný v Štokholme vo Švédsku a vydaný 3. februára 2003 vo formáte CD a 7 palcový vinyl. Štýlovo sa skladba pohybuje v žánroch gotický rock a pop punk a jej celkový čas je 4:06. Zložili ju Aki Hakala, Eero Heinonen, Pauli Rantasalmi a Lauri Ylönen. Singel bol nominovaný na cenu za najlepší singel v roku 2004- Kerrang!

Zaujímavosťou je, že k piesni existujú štyri rôzne hudobné videá: fínska (bandit) verzia, európska (crow) verzia, americká (mirror) verzia a štvrtá zjednodušená verzia.
